Immunity boost drink kadha is a herbal drink made from herbs and spices. These are boiled with water for a certain length of time to extract the medicinal benefits from them . It is an Ayurvedic drink helpful against cold, sore throat and nausea during Cold and hot season when allergies can arises.

Steps to make the recipe
Ready the herbs and spices
First peel the of ginger and grate nicely. If using fresh turmeric then peel and grate.
Then arrange all necessary ingredients of kadha ginger, turmeric, black pepper, cloves lemon and tulsi leaves by your side.
Boiling water with ingredients
Heat 1 litre water in a pan on medium flame heat and add all the ingredients one by one.
Extracts immunity boost substancesBoil them till the water reduced to half. You can cover it to boil on slow flame.
Boiling them on slow flame to extract all the benefiting substances.
Therefore remove the kadha and drain. Serve them hot for the best result. It can even be served with honey. You can reheat this drink and take at a regular interval.

- 1000 ml water
- 1/2 inch ginger root
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder ( or 1/2 inch fresh turmeric root)
- 1/2 lemon cut into 5 - 6 small pieces with skin
- 2 cloves
- 4 - 5 black pepper con
- 2 - 3 tulsi leaves ( holy basil)
- 1 teaspoon honey ( optional)
How to make the recipe
- Peel the ginger and grate nicely. Similarly if using fresh turmeric root then peel and grate.
- Heat 1000 ml water in a deep vessel utensil or pan on medium heat flame.
- When the water become hot add the grated ginger, turmeric powder, cloves, black pepper con, tulsi leaves and lemon pieces.
- Boil them on medium heat flame until the water reduced to half.
- You can cover and boil them on slow flame for best result.
- After that remove the drink and stain.
- Serve the drink hot for best result. You can even serve them with honey.
