We called it A Kandari Chicken Tikka, and I personally named it as Pomobee Chicken.

So let's begin and enjoy this amazing recipe tonight in dinner.


Healthy Kandhari Chicken tikka


Total time :       35 minutes

Prep time  :       20 minutes

Cook time :       15 minutes

Difficulty   :       easy

Yields.        :       2 servings

Serves        :       2

Ingredients :-

* 1 lbs  Boneless chicken Legs

* 1 tbs  Cumin powder

* 1 no   Beetroot

* 1 no.  Pomegranate

* 1/2 cup Cashew nuts

* 1/2 cup Grated Cheese

* 1/2 cup Fresh Cream

* 1/2 cup Yogurt( Greek yogurt)

* 2tbs Lemon juice

* 2 tbs Ginger Garlic paste

* 1 tbs Green chilly paste

* 1 tbs Corriander leafs ( Cilantro)

* Olive oil

* Salt to taste

Method of preparation :- Kandhari chicken Tikka


1. Wash the Chicken  and cut it in Tikka size shape. Pat it dry with paper towels. Marinade the Chicken pieces with Ginger Garlic paste,Salt , Lemon juice and Olive Oil. Keep it aside for 1 hour.

2. Peel the Beetroot and grated it with a Grater. Peel the Pomegranate also.

3. Make a fine paste using Cashew nuts, Cheese , half of the grated Beetroot and Pomegranate seeds.

4. Now take a mixing bowl and mix  the above fine paste with yogurt, remaining Ginger garlic paste , green chilly paste, Cumin powder,Fresh Cream ,Salt and Olive Oil. And put the remaining grated Beetroot to the mixture and mix well.

5. Now pour the marinaded Chicken pieces to the above mixture and mix well . Keep it refrigerated for 2 hours .

6. Shew the chicken pieces in a shewer and grill in a  Charcoal Ovalclay for 10 minutes to cook properly. You can also grill the Chicken pieces in an Oven for 15 minutes or until fully cooked.

7. It's ready now and serve it with your favorite Green chuntey(Mint sauce)
