Preparation time :- 10-15 minutes

Cooking time :- 5-6 minutes

Difficulty :- Easy

Yields :- 3 servings


We are preparing the Crispy cottage cheese finger into two different preparation.
One for our abroad fans and one for our indian fans

Ingredients (for Indian preparation ) :-


* 250 gm Cottage Cheese (paneer)

* 100 gm Corn flakes

* 1/2 tbs Red chilly powder

* 1/4 tbs Cumin powder

* 1/2 tbs Corriander leaves chopped

* 3 tbs Corn flour

* 1 tbs All purpose flour ( Maida)

* Salt as per taste

* 1 tbs Ginger Garlic paste ( optional)

Ingredients ( for abroad ):-

* 250 gm Cottage Cheese

* 100 gm Corn flakes

* 1/2 tbs Red Chilly flakes

* 1/4 tbs Black pepper powder

* 1/3 tbs minced garlic

* Salt as per taste

* 1 tbs Mustard Paste(optional)

* 3 tbs Corn flour

* 1 tbs All purpose flour

Method of preparation :-

* Cut the Cottage Cheese, paneer into long finger size shape.

* Crush the Corn flakes using a roller pin or with your hands. Keep it aside for later use.

* Marinate the Cottage Cheese with red Chilly powder, Cumin powder and salt. Leave it for 5 min to absorb the flavor.

Abroad fans can marinate it with Red Chilly flakes, salt ,garlic and pepper.

* Make a batter using half of the Corn flour and all purpose flour (Maida).

* The batter should not be too thick or thin. Make a medium thick consistency batter for better use.

* Take the marinated Cottage Cheese Fingers, dust them with the remaining Corn flour and keep aside to dry little bit.

* Now take a single piece of Cottage Cheese finger, dip it in the Corn flour batter and mix with the crushed  Corn flakes mixture.

* Mix well with the crushed Corn flakes to get a good coated finger.

* Repeat the above step with the remaining Cottage Cheese Fingers. Keep them refrigerated for 5 minutes.

* Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the Fingers till crisp and goldren brown in colour.

* Serve it with a Cocktail Sauce or with Green Mint Chutney.

It taste amazing,you can feel the crunch in your every bite.
